The 19-year-old came off the bench to play her first top Spanish Primera Iberdrola game for the Granotas
Andrea Okene made his Primer Iberdrola debut in Levante’s 2-0 win over Tenerife in Saturday’s game at Estadio La Palmera.
The teenager – a product of the Levante academy, received her first appearance for the ladies of María Pry after the replacement of Macedonian star Natasa Andonova.

Prior to his very first senior action, Okene had appeared on the first-team bench nine times, including in the 2021 Supercoppa final against Atletico Madrid.
After two consecutive games without a win, Pry’s side went to the Champions League contenders in Tenerife with high hopes of returning to victory and putting on a fine display to clinch a clinical triumph.
Esther Gonzalez’s brace thanks to help from Alba Redondo and Claudia Zornoza allowed Levante to get back on track and get closer to returning to the Champions League for the first time since 2009.
The victory saw Levante open a four-point gap for second on the Iberdrola table with 58 points after 27 games.
Born in Valencia to a Spanish mother, Okene is eligible to represent Nigeria at U20 and senior level, through her Nigerian father.
The 19-year-old has been with Levante’s youth squad since 2013 and has shone in Spain’s Reto Iberdrola with Team B, scoring eight goals in 12 games this season.
Following her senior team arc, she hopes to gain more first-team action in the matches ahead, as Levante host Toni Payne’s Sevilla in their next Spanish league game on May 5.
